Skykomish: You
know as well as I do fishing has been slow. All sorts of guesses as to why
its so slow but my two cents is; were in a transition time between wild and
hatchery fish and the fact that we have found hatchery fish with net marks on it
lead me to believe that the few fish that we have gotten used to fishing over
are getting picked off at the mouth. I cant confirm that because I never
go that way to take a peek. So its just a guess they could have been
pulled or never put in and those net marks came from somewhere else in the
ocean. We could also use a little bit of rain the river is pretty low. USGS Skykomish River
Snoqualmie: Hatchery
fish are pretty much done haven't been on it since the flood and haven't heard
of anybody on it. Sorry USGS Snoqualmie River
NF Stilly:
Everything is open again as of a couple of days ago. I have heard of a
fish here and fish there on it but not worth the drive for me to head up there
with the low water. USGS NF Stillaguamish
Skagit:
Sucks.
Sauk:
Should be fishable but still a little bit early.
Hoh:
The coastal rivers should be in shape sooner than our local rivers being that
they got hit first and were the first to get the relief. But remember big river means big changes, Until the Sky shuts down in February I wont know
about any of them. Be careful if you are going to float it for the first
time. USGS Hoh River Gauge
Sol Duc:
Local reports have been spotty but a few fish are being picked up if the effort
it being made. Dept of Ecology Gauge Sol Duc
